Gold price per tola in Pakistan reached Rs441,636 after rising Rs4,300 on Wednesday, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, the price per tola reached Rs441,636 after a gain of Rs4,300 during the day, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs378,631 after it accumulated Rs3,686, the association said.

The rise reverses the previous session's move. On Tuesday, the gold price per tola reached Rs437,336 after a decline of Rs800 during the day, according to the association's rates.

The international rate of gold increased by $43 to reach $4,191 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver also increased by Rs20 to reach Rs6,578 per tola in the local market.
