Bank of Canada publishes 2027 schedule for rate announcements and major publications

The Bank of Canada has published its 2027 schedule for policy interest rate announcements and for the quarterly Monetary Policy Report, and reconfirmed the rate announcement dates already set for the remainder of this year.

All interest rate announcements will take place at 09:45 (ET), the central bank said. The Monetary Policy Report will be published concurrently with the January, April, July and October rate announcements.

The Bank also published its 2027 schedule for the Business Outlook Survey and the Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations. It set the release of the Financial Stability Report for Tuesday, May 18, at 10:00 (ET).

The announcement is procedural and sets out no change to the policy rate. The Bank did not indicate in the release whether the timing or format of any publication would change.
