Ajman Bank centralises CBUAE regulatory reporting on new RegTech platform

Ajman Bank has moved its regulatory reporting to a single, centralised RegTech platform developed with consultancy 4most and regulatory technology specialist Reporting Center, replacing its previous reporting activities with structured, automated workflows. The UAE lender said the system covers data gathering, regulatory calculations, validation checks, adjustments and final report production within one auditable and customisable environment.
The overhaul is intended to let the bank respond more quickly as requirements from the Central Bank of the UAE change. Because reporting logic, mappings, formulas, validation rules and workflows can be modified without rebuilding the underlying infrastructure, Ajman Bank says it is positioned to absorb future regulatory updates as well as meet current obligations.
Traceability is central to the design. The platform records data, calculations, adjustments and user activity across the full reporting cycle, creating an audit trail the bank says reinforces governance and control, and gives it clearer sight of each stage from source data through to submission to the regulator.
Ajman Bank chief executive Mustafa Al Khalfawi said regulatory compliance is increasingly about the ability to respond quickly to change while maintaining robust governance and control. He said the combination of the bank's institutional strengths with 4most's regulatory reporting expertise and Reporting Center's technology was building a stronger foundation for technology-enabled compliance.
4most UAE director Nicoleta Remmlinger said RegTech delivers the greatest value when technology and regulatory expertise work together, while Reporting Center founder and chief executive Elena Unciuleanu said the collaboration demonstrates a model for the next generation of RegTech, helping banks move from regulatory interpretation to implementation faster. The rollout forms part of a wider push by Ajman Bank to reinforce its regulatory reporting framework through technology and automation.
