Grant Cardone: commercial real estate reset is here, Bitcoin is the hedge
Grant Cardone says commercial real estate is in a historic reset, with high interest rates pushing properties below replacement cost, and that Bitcoin on Cardone Capital's balance sheet fills that gap.

Grant Cardone, the founder of Cardone Capital, says commercial real estate is facing a historic reset, with high interest rates pushing properties below replacement cost, and that he is using Bitcoin to fill that gap. In an interview published by Bitcoin Magazine, he pointed to rates of 6.4% as the backdrop for that strategy.

Cardone Capital's approach, as he described it, is to hold Bitcoin on the balance sheet alongside its apartments. Cardone said his goal is 25,000 apartments and 25,000 BTC, with the Bitcoin position built up from 3,000 BTC, and he described real estate as a "Trojan horse" for Bitcoin.

He argued that REITs can never own Bitcoin, presenting that as a competitive advantage. The interview also covered Michael Saylor's "P Word", the $335M Boca Raton deal, and whether Cardone Capital might go public.

On the outlook, Cardone said commercial real estate faces a historic crash while single-family home prices will not correct, and he framed Bitcoin and real estate as a perfect hybrid asset. The show carries a disclaimer that the views are those of the participants and should not be construed as investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
