OGRA's November 3 revision trims petrol to Rs374.51 and high-speed diesel to Rs395.20 a litre, with the bigger cut landing on the fuel that moves freight and farm machinery.

Petrol will cost Rs374.51 a litre from November 3, down Rs3.40, while high-speed diesel falls Rs7.76 to Rs395.20, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority said in a November 2 press release.

The diesel cut is more than twice the petrol reduction in rupee terms, and it lands on the fuel that freight hauliers and agricultural machinery run on. Petrol's new rate replaces the Rs377.91 set on October 31; diesel comes down from Rs402.96.

OGRA said the revised ex-depot prices were set under the federal government's prescribed pricing mechanism. The announcement brings little relief to motorists and diesel users, with the larger cut applying to the fuel widely used in freight transport and agricultural machinery.

The new rates took effect on November 3 and replace those introduced on October 31, 2026.
